How does usage-based billing work?
Your platform plan covers the gateway, routing engine, and features. On top of that, you're billed only for the messages you actually send, at the per-channel rate for each destination. Failed deliveries that never leave the gateway aren't charged.
Do failover attempts cost extra?
You're charged per successful delivery attempt on a channel. If a message fails on one channel and succeeds on the fallback, you pay only for the channel that delivered — never for the failed attempt.
Can I switch plans or channels anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month unless you choose an annual commitment, and every channel is available on every plan — turn one on by adding it to your request. No new contracts or integrations required.
What counts toward volume discounts?
Total monthly message volume across all channels counts toward your discount tier. Committed-volume plans on Scale unlock private rates well below the published starting prices.
